Location of Mediations & Mediators’ Travel Policies
Location: All mediations are conducted in the San Jose office of Williams & Williams Mediation.
Travel:
- Jack Williams: does not travel to offsite mediations.
- Elizabeth Williams: will travel to selected Bay Area locations, on a limited, case-by-case basis. She bills for time spent in travel at her regular, mediation hourly billing rate. Access to a wireless network, a printer, and two, separate conference rooms are required.
Parking, Taxi & Airport Information
Free Parking:
- A limited number of free visitor parking spaces are available on a first-to-arrive basis in the parking lot adjacent to the Williams & Williams Mediation office building, located at 110 North Third Street, San Jose, CA 95112.
- Mediation participants may park in any of the unreserved spaces facing the bushes/Fourth Street. All spaces facing the Williams & Williams Mediation office building and those facing St. John Street are reserved for the exclusive use of the other firms that share the building space. Unauthorized vehicles that are parked in reserved slots will be towed at the owner's own expense.

Types of Subject Matters & Cases Mediated
The following provides a sample of the types of subject matters mediated by Jack Williams & Elizabeth Williams. This is not a comprehensive list. The frequency of various subject matters that are mediated are proportionate to the cases that are filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court. That is, we handle a large number of personal injury, employment, breach of contract and other civil matters that are the basis of the most frequently filed cases. However, we mediate a broad spectrum of civil cases, the subject matters, related law, industry standards, etc., which are provided to us by the parties in their briefs. We read everything that is submitted as part of the preparation for which we do bill. When we determine that it is prudent for us to research the relevant law, etc., we do not bill for this additional research.

- Both Jack and Elizabeth exclusively mediate. Neither Jack nor Elizabeth serve as arbitrators, early neutral evaluators, or special masters.
